Application
Nitrous oxide (often called "Laughing gas") is used
- As a general anaesthetic in both medical and dental surgeries.
- As an oxygen source in the chemical vapour deposition of silicon oxynitride layers.
- As an aerosol propellant for whipped cream (because it improves the foaming characteristics of the cream), syrups, concentrates of coffee, chocolate and various flavours, sauces for grilled meats, vinaigrette etc…
Process
Jinhong recycles the exhaust gas, purify and refine it to get high-purity nitrous oxide, the key point is to control the content of CO2 and moisture before the gas entering into rectifying tower.
The current annual output is 3000 tons, and it will be increased to 9600 tons in Y2020.
