Physical display of soda glass square calibration plate
The calibration plate is actually a geometric model with a fixed-pitch pattern array. The camera captures an image through a flat plate with a fixed-pitch pattern array (that is, the calibration plate), and then calculates the geometric model of the captured image through the calculation of the calibration algorithm. Then high-precision measurement and reconstruction results are obtained, lens distortion is effectively corrected, and the accuracy of image measurement and photogrammetry in machine vision applications is greatly improved.
In applications such as machine vision, image measurement, photogrammetry, and 3D reconstruction, the calibration board is mainly used to correct lens distortion; determine the conversion relationship between physical size and pixels; and determine the 3D geometric position of a point on the surface of a space object and the corresponding point in the image relationship to establish the geometric model of camera imaging.
